There have been reports of adverse health effects, including seizures, liver damage, withdrawal, addiction, abuse, and death. The FDA has issued advisories and commentary on concerns related to kratom products, which you can review on their website.

• Do not take any kratom product, medications, vitamins, nicotine, herbal supplements, drugs, or any other substances within 24 hours before or after using kratom extract or any kratom products.
• Do not take kratom extract unless you have previously used non-extract kratom without adverse effects.
• Do not use kratom extract or any other kratom products for multiple consecutive days or combine them with other kratom products.
• Mixing kratom extracts with medications, vitamins, nicotine, herbal supplements, drugs, or other substances may result in dangerous interactions.
• Do not use if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
• Do not use if you have any blood, liver, kidney, or heart conditions, high blood pressure, or other medical issues.
• Do not use kratom products while operating motor vehicles or heavy machinery.
• Contact a healthcare provider or seek emergency care if you experience any adverse effects.
